The received pulse evolution exciting circular resonator by bursts
Abstract
The formation of received pulse when the antisymmetric Lamb waves are excited by point form transducer on one side of the pipe, acting as a circular resonator, and received on the exactly the opposite side by similar transducer is researched. The waves were excited by bursts. The received signal is a superposition of the waves that have spun the resonator many times. Its envelope is an oscillating function and the oscillations depend on the waves frequency. A method of the simulation of the received pulse formation is given there, and also the results of the experiments and simulation. Ill. 5, ref. 8.Published
