Optic operating system solid optic devices
Abstract
This article presents new original contructions of deformable mirrors. Those mirrors are used for compensation of optical signal wave-front distortions caused by the atmosphere. Operation of wave-front modulators is described. Desing of this modulator is built as deformable mirror actuated by solid state electromechanical (piezoceramic) transducer. Several possible deigns are presented and discussed. Applications of such modulator in adaptive optical systems allow introducing of digital control systems provides low power consumption and improves reliability of whole system.Downloads
