Simulation of the pitch-catch of ultrasound waves at oblique incidence to the plane glass layer
Abstract
The possibilities of reception of ultrasound waves, passed through the plexiglass-glass interface, reflected from the glass-air boundary and passed again the glass-plexiglass interface, were simulated. The transformations of longitudinal and shear waves and distribution of energy at these interfaces were analyzed, when the angle of incidence was changed from 0° to 90° . The dependencies of coefficients of ultrasound wave energy transmission through three mentioned interfaces on the transformations of waves types at these interfaces and on the angle of incidence are calculated and analyzed.Downloads
