The research of nitrates hydration by ultraacoustic method
Abstract
Ultrasound speed of the binary system water-nitrate is measured by an ultraacoustic interferometer. Density of the system is measured by a picometer. The adiabatic compressibility of the is calculated from the meanings of ultrasound speed and density of the solution. The thickness of cations’ polarization layer is calculated from the meanings of water and solution adiabatic compressibility. The article explains the preconditions for the formation of positive and negative hydration.Downloads
