Improved parametric model of speed of sound in the air
Abstract
This paper describes a improved parametric model of speed of sound in the air with temperature in the range from 0 C to 100oC. The prediction is based on experimental data obtained over a temperature range from 7.55 -95.75o Celsius. Comparison is made with known experimental measurements and theoretical data. This improved model can be used for parametric measurements speed of sound in the air for acoustic distance meters. Air composition not considered.Downloads
