Modeling of directivity pattern of transducer for ultrasonic measurements
Abstract
The distribution of displacement amplitudes on ultrasonic transducer's surface measured by holographic interferometry method was used for calculation of vibration's amplitudes of the acoustic field. The distribution of vibrations on transducer was artificially changed. The deformations of directivity pattern are shown. Asymmetry of directivity pattern in case of nonsymmetrical distributions of vibrations is discussed. The results obtained can be exploited in design of ultrasonic transducers for measurements.Downloads
