Ultrasonic spectrometry for the investigationof biological media
Abstract
The ultrasonic spectroscopic method for the measurements of biological media parameters is described in the article. The proposed method is based on the fact that attenuation of ultrasonic waves is depending on the frequency. The developed digital ultrasonic spectroscopic techniques enables to perform the measurements of ultrasound absorption in biological liquids in the frequency range 2-17 MHz. The results of experimental measurements of attenuation in the water and blood are presented too.Downloads
