Investigation of the structure of carbamide and nitrate [KNO3, Cu(NO3)2, Zn(NO3)2, Mg(NO3)2] water solutions applying ultraacoustic method
Abstract
It has been researched how carbamide and nitrates dissolved together and separately influence water structure. Change of water structure is researched by ultraacoustic method while measuring ultraacoustic sound in solutions and their adiabatic compressibility. The uncompressive volume of one molecule of dissolved salt and two salts, dissolved together, the average uncompressive volume of one molecule are counted from the coefficients of adiabatic compression. The change of water structure is evaluated from the difference of one molecule of two dissolved salts while dissolving substances together and separately. The measurements were fulfiled at a temperature of 250C. The concentration of carbamide has been changing in the interval of 0,5 - 15 mol/kg H2O, concentration of nitrates was 0,5 m. It has been determined that carbamide and nitrates enlarges ultrasound speed in a solution, and reduces adiabatic compressibility. This influence greater the concentration of carbamide is bigger. After counting uncompressive volumes of one molecule of nitrates and carbamide and difference of average uncompressive volume of two salts one molecule, it is ascertained, that carbamide, dissolved in water, destroys uncompressive volume of water molecules nitrates cations due to a new formed structure of solution.Downloads
