Synthetic aperture focusing technique (SAFT) piezotransducers
Abstract
The synthetic aperture focusing technique has recently become popular in the fields of non-destructive testing and medicine. The lateral resolution of this method depends on the angular aperture of the insonifying beam. The directivity patterns of the piezotransducers with large difference between length and width of the piezoelements and matching layers are presented.Downloads
