Synthesis of acoustic impulses in a solid waveguide
Abstract
The object of the investigation was synthesed piezoelectrical excitation on the acoustic waveguide. The three different methods were experimentally tested: two of them based on deconvolution principle, third is the sum of positive and negative voltage steps. Deviations of the experimentally measured and the calculated desired output signal depends upon noise of measured impulse characteristic, amplitude quatization and sampling in time and frequency domain. It was determined that synthesis quality is mainly influenced by the desired output signal.Downloads
