Reduction of acoustic emission from the curved duct
Abstract
It was explained by experimental investigations what the effect of sound absorbing material was necessary in order to reduce the acoustic emission from the curved duct. A special stand was constructed to carry out the experiment for investigate the sound propagation in the curved duct. The instrumentation of the firm "Brüel&Kjær" was used for the acoustic measurements. The experimental investigation showed that the use of absorbing material in the curved duct is useful to reduce an acoustic emission in the sound field of the high frequency range.Published
