Parameterisation of ultrasonic echographic images for intraocular tumour differentiation
Abstract
The quantitative parameters of the ultrasound intraocular images are investigated for the intraocular tumours type and structure analysis. The inverse filtering is applied for the increase of the ultrasonic image spatial resolution. The point spread function used for the inverse filtering was evaluated with two methods: ultrasound scanner transducer field modeling and blind deconvolution. The parameters for the quantitative intraocular tumours image characterization are suggested. They can be used for modern automatic algorithms of decision support in clinical practice.Downloads
