Abstract

A chemical polymerisation reaction of acrylamide initiated by a certain ratio of persulfate and thiosulfate is characterised by the similar ultrasound velocity changes as in blood clotting. Twenty experiments were carried out with the optimal composition of acrylamide compound mixture. Errors of solutions preparation and ultrasound velocity variation identity are presented. This chemical polymerisation reaction of acrylamide may be used for dynamic calibration of measurement system.
